The National Consultation on Roma Early Childhood Inclusion report took place  with the participation of stakeholders from the government, civil society, international organizations, researchers Roma and non-Roma in Budapest on 6th of July.


The Roma Early Childhood Inclusion Project (RECI) is sponsored and managed jointly by UNICEF, the Roma Education Fund (REF) and the Open Society Foundations (OSF) under the leadership of John Bennett, EdD. The purpose of the Project is to gather data and information about the inclusion of young Roma children in early childhood services of selected countries of Central and Eastern European (CEE) and Southern European (SEE) countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.


The working group discussion made an important contribution in the development of recommendations based on the research findings.
